Our Home On Wheels
This is our home on wheels! She is a 2015 29′ Heartland Prowler Lynx 285LX. We haul her with a 2015 Ram 1500.
We renovated every single space in this rig including converting the bunk room into a cozy home office. Other renovations include custom counters, residential sink and faucet in the kitchen, feature wall in the bedroom and office, and a residential size couch. The bathroom was refreshed with new paint and a new residential faucet. The entire rig was painted a fresh white and we replaced the window valances with custom wood pieces.

I love your changes. We have a 2015 Prowler 26 Lynx. I love being able to do some Reno also. Love our Prowler.

Thank you! I would love to see your renos! Are you on social media? If not, send me some pictures 🙂

Hi there – we spent an afternoon in La Paz while holidaying in Cabos. Curious – have you compared costs for your renos & pre-trip purchases? If you were starting over do you think you would purchase items & do renos there in Mexico instead? Congratulations on doing what everyone else only daydreams of doing!
Jenn
Hi Donni,
First off, did you love La Paz? We used to vacation in San Jose del Cabo before we found La Paz.
We did not directly compare reno costs but we have looked at building materials since being here. We have done a lot of outdoor projects. Wood is expensive in Mexico. It was definitely EASIER to do the renos in Canada, and the costs were probably cheaper there too!
